23rd Gathering of the Clans Airheads Beemer Club #214

The Airmarshals of Virginia and North Carolina invite all Airheads, those who ride Airheads and other esteemed members of the motorcycling community to join us for the 23rd Gathering of the Clans at High Country Motorcycle Camp for a weekend of fun, friends and fantastic roads of all types. Plenty of shaded camping, clean hot showers, tech sessions, Friday and Saturday evening meals at a cost of $45 per adult. Children are charged according to size and temperament. There is no preregistration simply arrive with money in hand. We will take credit cards, if you can prove there is enough balance on it to pay for the whole rally. Everyone will thank you for it!

Getting there is part of the adventure. Map readers can try to locate Ferguson, NC (it is a small village and really not very near the campground) to get an idea of where they are headed. The computer users will want to look at highcountrymotorcyclecamp.com for maps directions and other info.

WARNING: GPS and/or smartphones may or may not get you to the campground, or may send you down a road you are not prepared for. There is definitely NO cell service in the area near the campground. If you really want the information, the address is 765 Stoney Fork Road, Ferguson, NC 28624.

The first turn to get to the campground is about nine miles south of the Blue Ridge Parkway OR seven miles north of North Wilkboro, NC following US 421. Look for signs with the BMW roundel, about the size of political signs seen in yards around election time. After making the first turn, all other turns are similarly marked. It is highly suggested you fuel up and get any beverages or other supplies you may need in either Boone or North Wilksboro, It is 16 miles to the campground after turning off 421. PLEASE check your tires before leaving home!!
