Helping Hand Award
We have all had, or know someone who has had, problems while touring on our motorcycles. And we know people (some BMW MOA members, some not) who have unselfishly come to the aid of one of our members. Stories of these acts of kindness are told and retold around rally campfires year after year.
As BMW MOA’s way of showing appreciation for these acts of kindness, we have established the Helping Hand Award. It is awarded to anyone who has gone out of their way to aid a BMW MOA member. This could be aid to the victim of an accident, break down, or any other mishaps that occur while on the road. Saying “thank you” is the right response.
If you have received assistance from someone “above & beyond” and want to acknowledge their kindness, please send your story and the names & addresses of your nominee(s) to for consideration.
When you see somebody wearing a BMW MOA Helping Hand Award pin you know that you have found a true hero of motorcycling!
