There is a human need to belong. The first group of which we become a member is our family. As we grow and mature there are other groups we join. These may include a neighborhood, school class, religious organizations, Scouts, fraternal organizations, professional organizations and many more. Usually we join because we want to associate with like minded individual who share a common interest or goal.
While your personal reasons for joining a BMW MOA Chartered club are as varied as there are members, once you join, you become part of a new family. Like most families we have good times, not so good times and perhaps a few family fights. In the end, we continue to associate together by choice.
I am a relatively new member of BMW MOA. I continued to be impressed with the members of my new family. Almost without exception, the members whom I have met are people that I would choose to call a friend. Without being a member, I most likely never would have met most of them.
