We may have thought these or similar words when it comes to riding.  The BMW MOA  Mileage Contest is one venue that gives some of us the motivation to get on the road.  Others need only the sun to rise to get going and they might even let out during the hours of darkness.

A grateful thank you goes out for two helpful ladies at BMW MOA HQ, Mary Mclaughlin & Rhonda Glasgow.  Mary provides a very important function of behind the scenes tasking, she sorts all of the forms by bmw MOA Number and boxes them up and sends them to me.  Rhonda is  involved in the heavy lifting and even bundles them up with rubber bands, that makes batching them and working on piles of forms easier.  When the "big ole box" arrives the fun begins.  (all the ladies @ HQ are helpful and even some of the fellas)

April is finally here, the 2011 Start Form is in the book and HERE  on the web.  If you've entered the contest before you know the routine.  If 2011 is "the year I'm going to enter the mileage contest" WELCOME , fill out the forms and watch the miles add up year after year, before you know it, you will be sending Tony Black the necessary information for your 100K award.    

2010 Mileage Contest 2,110 (1,871 men & 239 women) started the contest and 1,645 (1,444 men & 201 women) completed the process.  The average miles ridden by the men were 9,310 and the women averaged 8,158.
