BMW MOA Foundation Hires First Executive Director

The BMW MOA Foundation (BMW MOAF) has announced the hiring of the first Executive Director for the organization. Ted Moyer was appointed to the position, reporting to Don Braasch, President of the BMW MOA Foundation. Moyer will be responsible for leading the business practices of the charitable organization with a focus on contributions made to the BMW MOA Foundation and the programs resulting from those donations.

This is a new position for the BMW MOA Foundation and one that is vital to the organization, according to Foundation President, Don Braasch. "The BMW MOA Foundation has a stated mission to support motorcycling through rider education," says Braasch. "We need a person that can execute our programs and help us grow to the next level to fulfill that mission. Ted is that person and we are excited to have him on board."

The Executive Director role will be an expanded assignment for Moyer. He will maintain his position as Director of Marketing with the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America. "The Foundation's goals are important to the BMW motorcycling community," says Moyer. "It is a great opportunity for me to leverage my experience and give back to an organization that has meant so much to me over the last ten years."

Moyer's position as Executive Director begins immediately. He will be based in the current BMW Motorcycle Owners of America Marketing and Advertising offices in Birmingham, Alabama. Moyer can be reached toll free at 866-865-1055 or via email, .
