Places NevadaCathedral Gorge State ParkSoutheastern Nevada south of Picohe and west of Panaca. 702-728-4467 Another middle of nowhere place. Very nice facilities, including showers that are barely used. Shady camping available in the middle of the desert.Ruby Mountains WildernessLocated southeast of Elko, NV off Hwy 227, in the Humboldt National Forest. Campground is called the Thomas Canyon Campground. Great views, hiking. Basic facilities... water faucets, pit toilets, no showers.
