Treasures of Yosemite Rally

Expresso Riders will host the Treasures Of Yosemite Rally on May 14-16, 2010 at the Tenaya Lodge located just south of the Wawona entrance to the park on Hwy 41. The rally is a BMW road touring event encouraging couples both two-up and one and one, plus riding buddies of every stripe to ride the scenic byways of Yosemite National Park while comfortably lodging at the fabulous, four star Tenaya Lodge. A weekend of fun, food, frivolity, and friendship awaits you just minutes from one of our greatest national treasures, Yosemite National Park as well as the backroads of the western Sierra Nevada. Reknown motorcycle safety expert and AMA Hall of Fame inductee David L. Hough will be guest speaker at several seminars during the rally. Group room rates have been established at $169 per night, double occupancy. Registration for the event is $89 per person which includes Friday reception, Saturday banquet, and all scheduled events, tours, and trinkets. Riders of European motorcycles from all over the country gather to enjoy some of the best riding in the southeast on well maintained roads through the foothills of Kentucky and Tennessee. Location - Burkesville, KY (south central KY) on the banks of the Cumberland River at the intersection of Hwy 61 and Hwy 90. The coordinates for the rally are: N36 47.226, W85 22.139. The Rally site is the beautiful Burkesville City Park with level grass camping sites and bath rooms with showers (bring your own towel and soap). Several restaurants offering good food and value are within walking distance of the campground. You will find the local residents hospitable and appreciative of your visit to their community. Rally fee is $30 per person if pre-registered by May 11th or $35 at the gate. Rally registration includes: camping, Rally T-shirt & Rally Pin for the first 250 registered, Friday night at the movies, Saturday lunch provided by Bloodworth Motorcycles, Saturday night steak & baked potato dinner, Saturday night live entertainment and door prizes. This laid back rally is located at the Corps of Engineers Sequoya Park, Ormond Lock and Dam #9 on the Arkansas River, south of Morrilton, AR. with easy access from I-40. Take AR 9 south over the river bridge. Park entrance is 5 miles S of intersection US64 & AR9. Look for BMW roundel. A no-frills rally with complimentary coffee, donuts, and hot dogs. Riding into History, one of America's premier motorcycle events, will return to the World Golf Village near St. Augustine, Florida on Saturday, May 15. Famed author and motorcycle traveler Clement Salvadori will be the Grand Marshal. The event will feature Charity Rides, a Concours d'Elegance, the Biker's Ball and the Historic Ride. Proceeds from Riding into History will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. The event is presented by Riding Into History Inc., a 501(C)3 charity organization comprised of volunteer members from several motorcycle organizations, led by the BMW Motorcycle Owners of Northeast Florida (BMWNEF) MOA Club # 42. Between 300 and 400 antique, vintage and classic motorcycles from all over the country are expected. Thousands of spectators are once again expected to enjoy the event which also includes, exhibitors, entertainment, clubs and a variety of food. Admission is still only $10 at the gate for the Concours. Various ticket packages are available for the Biker's Ball and the Charity Rides.
