19th Georgia Mountain Rally

BMW Owners of Georgia #23

The 20th Anniversary GA Mt Rally will be held at our new location at the Georgia Mountain  Fairgrounds in Hiawassee, GA, off  Highway 76W. This world-class facility has a huge indoor music hall that seats 2,400 and awesome camping on the shores of Lake Chatuge. Some of the finest and twistiest roads in the country make this rally a must! The beautiful North Georgia location is in close proximity to Deal's Gap, the Cherohala Skyway, Wolf Pen Gap, Two Wheels Only (TWO), Brasstown Bald, Richard Russell Scenic Parkway, Blood Mountain (Hwy 129), Nantahala, Wyah Bald, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and much more. The new location is also convenient to all stores, shops, and restaurants in Hiawassee and Young Harris. The paved vendor area with wooden booths was a hit last year, and we plan on utilizing the vendor area again in 2010.  Expect shady campsites, lake views, hot showers, good food, a great variety of vendors and door prizes, bonfire, bike show, seminars, tennis courts, fun and fellowship. Fee includes 2 nights camping, rally pin for the first 400, poker run, awards, door prizes, Friday and Saturday dinners, campfire, and plenty of coffee.

Camping before and/or after rally dates requires separate fee(s) paid directly to the campground office (ask for rally rate discount). Registration form & information, the vendor registration form and other links can be found at www.bmwmoga.info. The Ramada Inn (The Lodge at Lake Chatuge 800-613-4349) next to the park offers a special rate for rally attendees. Frosty Nutz Campout
Yankee Beemers #153

Come to the Wilgus State Park on the scenic Connecticut River for an early weekend of camping. Shake off the winter blahs and get reacquainted with old friends while we cook road kill over an open fire and swap lies. This year the Yankee Beemers will be back at Wilgus which is just south of Ascutney Vermont. Get out your maps and look at the area, there are some great roads and restaurants nearby along with fantastic riding in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Now, the secret to having a good time at this event is by bringing your sense of humor, long underwear and raingear not in any particular order. During the day we get out and ride in-groups if the weather permits, and hang around a campfire at night trying to forget about how cold it is by telling each other riding stories. See you there! $20 at the door for the weekend. http://www.yankeebeemers.org for more information.
