The Motomarathon Association runs an annual series of four-day rides over the best roads and through the best scenery in the country. Routes remain secret until the night before each day's ride, then verified at day's end through self-recorded checkpoints using digital or cell phone cameras. "The format has struck a nerve with today's sport-touring riders, and with Motomarathon sponsors Ducati North America (bikes), Aerostich (clothing) and Wolfman (luggage)," said Metzger.

The Westchester Beemers Motorcycle Club and National Multiple Sclerosis Society, NY City - Southern NY Chapter, unite to help find a cure for multiple sclerosis. The NMSS simultaneously funds research for a cure while also helping people who currently live with MS lead more fulfilling lives. Walkers (2,000 last year!) and Motorcyclists will assemble at Rye Playland, site of the annual MS WALK event. After sharing a light breakfast, participants depart on their respective Walk or Motorcycle Ride. Walkers complete a six-mile circuit as Motorcyclists cruise a scenic Connecticut & upstate NY loop. Both groups rendezvous three hours later at Rye Playland, for lunch and entertainment. There will be a new venue for the 2010 Blitz to Branson - the Honeysuckle Inn and Conference Center, 3598 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway, Branson - at the corner of Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and Highway 76 (the main highway through Branson). There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance to make it a lot more convenient for folks to find a place to eat. The Honeysuckle Inn rooms will be all non-smoking and cost $55 for a double with 2 queen beds. A room with a King is $65. The rooms all open to the outside with a covered walkway. Camp Living Stones (CLS) presents its 3rd annual Mountain Motorcycle Retreat, April 23-25. We are located at the foot of Starr Mountain in Englewood, TN halfway between Chattanooga and Knoxville. CLS is surrounded by the Cherokee National Forest only 13 miles from the west end of the Cherohala Skyway, and not much further to Deals Gap/"Tail of the Dragon" and the Great Smokey's National Park. Besides miles upon miles of twisting and sweeping paved roads, the area also offers endless miles of gravel and unimproved roads, with some single track for dual sport enthusiast. Each year the retreat has grown as the word has spread. Last year we had riders representing TN, GA, LA, AL, FL, KY, IL, IN, NC and VA.
